After working on The Sims as it's original first pro games Artist, specifically to handle animation, I ended up working directly with the superlative Don Hopkins on building out the animation system and then began improving behaviour systems and templating objects. I designed and built the broad majority of the original objects and eventually moved back into art direction the way I had at 3DO on the original proto X-Box game teams. I spent nearly 6 years improving visual quality and animation appeal as both an individual contributor and eventually taking over the Expansions Pack in total from art and animation perspective for Hot Date, Vacation. Unleashed and Superstar. The last two winning subsequent AiAs best simulation game awards for 2002 and 2003 respectively.
