Howdy! My name is Eric, but people call me "irk". Sometimes it is "irk" because my little brother could not say Eric for his first two years. I started my professional life in Animationbecause I wanted to tell stories in a compelling way. I fell into Game Development, and popped into and out of Entertainment and Games doing Project Management and Planning, Vision, Concept, Story, Character, Animation, World Building. 2D, 3D, VR, etc. I am a person you like to partner with and be around because I learn, grow and come up with solutions for what is ailing your project. Or even better, take the initiative to create the prototypical system designs that will make people care about your characters, Avatars, etc. My background includes Art & Animation Direction and Visual Design for The most Lauded and award winning The Sims PC, expansion packs. Narrative work for Walt Disney Animation, Nickelodeon, The Jim Henson Company and STARWARS games. Commercials and RealTime WebGL music videos. Lots of fun doing scads of work fixing up "metaversal projects" like Toontown Online, The Sims Online, Second Life, imvu, and Blue Mars. Currently I am doing independent projects to use the cinema component of Unreal Engine 5 to make 3DVR video match up with virtual theater environments, and Unity to greybox out new experiences for my own slowrolling start-up and test out and add new styles of Avatars for VRChat.
