rear-projection dimensional 3D Tiki

A sculpted face, vaccu-formed in plastic and then rear projected into like you would find in Buzz LightYear Space Ranger Spin, Mr Potato Eyes on the big Hawker at shooting Galleries in Anaheim/Orlando.... or Dwarf Mining Car rides in the latter. Examples provided in photos below. 45 minutes of video with dialog and songs, written, recorded and animated to by yours truly.

Because I had built the tiki head for the portable 12 foot tall tiki hut, I got approached to do something for a 24/7 bar in "Chinatown" Las Vegas.
I flew out, wrote up a thumbnail sketch of lore and a proposal and with a handshake, got working.

The lore I wrote up got slapped in uncredited as is into the website.

the check came. I delivered what I could during the schedule, drove it to Vegas, installed it and was 3 weeks early than announced to me for soft opening. Instead of a party I renewed my vows at a chapel with my adorable wife.

Though many things discussed for maintenance and access it ended up getting installed and up and running anyway. Happily the Bar has been very successful with and without it.

i wrote all the music and dialog, recorded and animated the bugger. By far the most time and effort was spent on the content itself. There were talk of updates and new content but they have been unfruitful. Sadly the feature has been removed/dismantled.
